Where can I get a pretty Indian print fabric or trim?
I’m attending a friends Indian Wedding in July. The dress I am wearing is pretty simple, in a lovely turquoise color. Here is a link to the same dress, different color so you can see the style.

I would like to make it a little fancier and/or ethnically relevant by exchanging the sash for something in a lovely Indian print, or maybe finding a great Indian looking wrap, or adding some fancy gold trim or something but I’m having trouble finding something appropriate. I tried to find sari/saree fabric but with no luck (this would be my first foray into searching for such fabric so maybe I just don’t know where to look.)
Anyone with more experience than me in this style have any suggestions for something that would be tasteful and celebratory for a dear friends wedding? Any advice would be appreciated!

Check out any Indian fashion stores in your area, you can call and Indian grocery store and ask where the nearest one is or look in a phone book.
You could probably find something “indian” like at a fabric store too.
I sayjust replace the sash, or add a neck scarf that’s in a paisely/indian print.
